The Pronghorn and Sidewinder hydrogen projects may be proposed for different counties, but they are deeply connected—by the same developer, similar timelines, overlapping technologies, and a shared lack of transparency. Together, they represent a broader push to industrialize large swaths of Wyoming’s open landscape under the banner of “clean energy,” without meaningful public input, clear long-term plans, or full disclosure of the risks.
